Children's Ministry Resources

Children's Ministry Program

The ministries for covenant children at Church Creek PCA have one primary goal in mind: to make the glory of the Lord known to the next generation, “that the generation to come might know” (Psalm 78), so that they would set their hope in God. The goal in ministering to our children is to bring the heart of the gospel to the heart of the child. Through our ministries, children have opportunities to be instructed in God’s Word, to be involved in fellowship, and to engage in worship.

Sunday School

When you join us on Sunday mornings, there are Sunday School classes available for children from K-3 through high school. Sunday School is an important ministry because, in it, we teach children the truths of God’s Word (the Bible). Children not only learn the individual stories of the Bible but also the overarching story of God’s Word, which is God choosing a people for Himself and saving those people through His Son Jesus Christ. Sunday School classes for children ages three and older meet every Sunday during our Sunday School hour from 9:30am-10:10am.

The Middle and High School Classes meet together or separately depending on the type of class being taught each quarter. We use the Gospel Project curriculum in all of our Sunday School classes. It emphasizes prayer and challenges children to develop a personal relationship with Jesus.

Nursery

The mission of the nursery at Church Creek is to come alongside parents as they seek to raise their children in the love and admonition of the Lord. Our nursery facilities are available throughout the Sunday School and Morning Worship hours for infants and toddlers through three years of age.

The nursery and its volunteers operate according to a Safe Sanctuary Nursery Policy as we seek to provide a safe, loving environment for children. Our nursery is staffed by trained church members. Please do not hesitate to contact the church administrator at any time with your questions and concerns.
