Hebrews 9.14 The Blood of Christ

    Our new covenant blessings [from Hebrews 8]

      1. God writes His law within our hearts
      2. All of us can have personal communion with God
      3. God will never bring up our sins again

A. GOD

    1. God made us

    1. God works on our spirits: Spirit

    2. God works on us through time: Eternal

      a. To obtain eternal salvation [5.9]

      c. To obtain eternal redemption [9.12]
      d. To receive an eternal inheritance [9.15]
      e. Received through the eternal covenant [13.20]

C. CHRIST

    1. Christ

    2. Himself

D. THE BLOOD OF CHRIST

E. US

    1. Cleansed from dead works

      a. Deeds produced by dead sinners
      b. Deeds that don’t really accomplish anything
      c. Deeds that lead to death

    2. Cleansed to serve the living God
