A. HOLD FAST THE CONFESSION OF YOUR FAITH [4.14]

    1. The danger

      a. Drifting away [2.1]

    2. The duty: hold fast

    3. The reason why we can hold fast: Jesus

      a. The greatness of His person [1.2-3a]

      b. The greatness of His work [1.3b; 2.14-15]

      c. The greatness of His sympathy [4.15]

        1) He stands between us and God [5.1]

    2. The answer:: come to God for His grace

    1. The danger: becoming dull, slow, sluggish

    2. The definition of spiritual maturity
